Why So significant?

Converge Tuesdays are a great time to come together as a campus-wide movement. It’s a time where we praise & worship, hear dynamic teaching, dive deep in our small groups, and have some great fellowship with one another.

Each Tuesday will feel a little different because the focus will rotate each week between Connect gathering, seminars, and movement socials. Each week is a significant building block to being part of the Cru movement at SMU…

Each of these building blocks is meant to play a vital role in preparing you for the rest of the week. Tuesdays are significant because Cru is here to equip you to walk with God, share your faith, make disciples, and take an active part in God’s story.

When Tuesdays are packed, every other day is freed up for you to take steps of faith that will impact the lives and eternities of your peers at SMU… that’s ultimate.

It can be difficult to find “your place” amongst the masses of a large university like UT Dallas.

But we’ve got a great solution…

Every Tuesday, the whole Cru movement will get together to connect, experience community, and discuss significant topics related to following Christ and making Him known. Here you will find opportunities to be encouraged, equipped, engaged in your faith and get a campus-wide picture of how God is moving and creating life-change at SMU.

Jump into seminars for practical steps

Twice a month, we’ll dive deep into what some practicalities of the Christian life. What does time management look like and how can I have success in that area? How do faith and mental health interact? What does it look like to have important conversations with people around me?

Here you will find opportunities to put your faith into action and learn how to leave a legacy!
